Dinámica de la cobertura vegetal (1986-2018) en el PN-ANMI Serranía del Iñao

Abstract

El Área Protegida Serranía del Iñao, se destaca por resguardar formaciones vegetales características de la ecorregión Bosque Tucumano Boliviano. Se analizó la dinámica de la cobertura vegetal y fragmentación del paisaje en el área protegida entre los periodos 1986-2018, aplicando la teledetección satelital. En la categoría PN la superficie deforestada disminuyó de 1.490,96 ha en el 1986-2001 a 1.170,31 ha en el 2001- 2018, con una distancia media entre fragmentos de 78 m en 1986 y 75 m en 2018, no obstante, existió una reducción en el tamaño medio entre fragmentos de 87.005 ha en 1986 a 85.752 ha en 2018. En la categoría ANMI la deforestación aumentó de 7.521,58 ha en el 1986-2001 a 8928,87 ha en el 2001-2018, registrando una distancia media entre fragmentos de 78 m en 1986 y 79 m en 2018, y con una disminución en los tamaños de los fragmentos de 168.404 ha en 1986 a 160.641 ha en 2018. Finalmente, en la categoría amortiguación, la pérdida de la vegetación disminuyó de 5.240,24 ha en el 1986-2001 a 5.113,59 ha en el 2001-2018, con una distancia media entre fragmentos de 85 m en 1986 y 86 m en 2018, y un decrecimiento en el tamaño entre fragmentos de 86.759 ha en 1986 a 85.960 ha en 2018. En el área protegida existió una dinámica significativa en la cobertura vegetal provocada por los factores antrópicos y fenómenos naturales, sin embargo, se encuentra en un estado estable y conservado.

The Serranía del Iñao Protected Area is notable for protecting vegetation formations characteristic of the Bolivian Tucuman Forest ecoregion. The dynamics of vegetation cover and landscape fragmentation in the protected area between 1986 and 2018 were analyzed using satellite remote sensing. In the PN category, the deforested area decreased from 1,490.96 ha (1986-2001) to 1,170.31 ha (2001-2018), with the average distance between fragments of 78 m in 1986 and 75 m in 2018; however, there was a reduction in the average size between fragments from 87,005 ha in 1986 to 85,752 ha in 2018. In the ANMI category, deforestation increased from 7,521.58 ha in (1986-2001) to 8,928.87 ha in (2001- 2018), recording an average distance between fragments of 78 m in 1986 and 79 m in 2018, and with a decrease in the sizes of the fragments from 168,404 ha in 1986 to 160,641 ha in 2018. Finally, in the buffer category, vegetation loss decreased from 5,240.24 ha in (1986-2001) to 5,113.59 ha in (2001-2018), with an average distance between fragments of 85 m in 1986 and 86 m in 2018, and a decrease in the size between fragments from 86,759 ha in 1986 to 85,960 ha in 2018. In the protected area there was a significant dynamic in vegetation cover caused by anthropogenic factors and natural phenomena, it remains in a relativey stable and conserved state.
