Calidad del servicio universitario y autoeficacia para investigar en maestrandos peruanos

Abstract

El presente estudio se realizó con el propósito de relacionar la percepción de la calidad del servicio universitario con la autoeficacia para investigar, en estudiantes de posgrado en una muestra de 134 maestrandos de la ciudad de Arequipa-Perú. Se optó por una investigación básica, observacional, transversal, prospectiva y analítica. Se utilizaron como instrumentos la escala HEDQUAL (Higher Education Quality) y la escala EAI (Escala de Autoeficacia para Investigar); aplicándose los modelos ajustados de ambos instrumentos al contexto del presente estudio. Los valores obtenidos del estudio como p(rho) = .378; (r2 = . 142) y (p < .001) permitieron concluir la existencia de una relación positiva y débil de la percepción de la calidad del servicio universitario con respecto a la autoeficacia para investigar de los maestrandos; con un tamaño del efecto mínimo

The present study was carried out with the purpose of relating the perception of the quality of the university service with the self-efficacy to investígate, in postgraduate students in a sample of 134 master students from the city of Arequipa - Perú. A basic, observational, cross-sectional, prospective and analytical investigation was chosen. The HEDQUAL scale (Higher Education Quality) and the EAI scale (Self-eíficacy Scale for Research) were used as instruments; applying the adjusted models of both instruments to the context of the present study. The valúes obtained from the study as p(rho) = .378; (r2 = .142) and (p < .001) allowed us to conclude the existence of a positive and weak relationship between the perception of the quality of the university service with respect to the self-eíficacy for research of the master students; with a minimal effect size
