dc.description.abstractA paper has been previously griten by we and  published in the same magazine, where the slope stability in soils was studied, applying a similar analytical procedure to presented in this moment, except in this new on a numerical approach has been developed, to evaluate the slope stability in rock mass.  Taking advantage of the rock mass macrostructure, and carrying out some laboratory tests, the safety factor for the slope landslide can be estimated, using the method developed here.  So as to compare results, the problem is salved using (m, s) parameters which classify the rock mass.  Then applying the instantaneous parameter methodology and linear regression, the solution is obtained applying the criterion here displayed
