Reflexiones sobre Vivir Bien y derechos humanos: Un punto de vista práctico

Abstract

El artículo reflexiona sobre las tensiones y complejidades que implica la noción de Vivir Bien, repasa las corrientes de las cuales se nutre y la conceptualizan poniendo énfasis en su vigencia política y cultural en países que pasan por transformaciones político-sociales, particularmente Ecuador y Bolivia. El autor resalta la paradoja existente sobre la temática, puesto que el Vivir Bien se constituye en un discurso no moderno que se encuentra compelido a traducirse operativamente a través de instrumentos racionalizadores de lo social, pero ello no debe ser un contradicción irresoluble sino un impulso para lograr que el Vivir Bien se constituya en una base ética, moral e ideológica en la construcción de una nueva gestión del conocimiento y la implementación de políticas públicas. Ello implica generar nuevos debates, abordar complejas problemáticas y consolidar articulaciones para que el Vivir Bien deje de ser un concepto y se transforme en la base de una nueva ingeniería social, política y ambiental.

This arricie reflects on tensions and complexitíes related to the concept of Vivir Bien, it goes over the trends from which it gets nourished and the conceptualization, emphasizing its political and cultural validity in countries going through political and social transformations, specifically Ecuador and Bolivia. The author highlights the existing paradoxes about this topic, since Vivir Bien is a non- modern speech compelled to be translated into the operational level through social rational tools. However, this should not be an unsolvable contradiction, but the drive to make Vivir Bien the ethical, moral and ideological basis for the construction of a newknowledge management and implementation of public policies. Therefore, new debates need to be produced, complex problems need to be addressed and new articulations need to be Consolidated in order for the Vivir Bien to stop being just a concept and to become the base of a new social, political and environmental engineering.
