Abstract

We present the case of a patient with heart failure, mitral stenosis, tricuspid regurgitation and pulmonary hypertension, who underwent a conventional cholecystectomy under general anesthesia and multimodal analgesia. A bibliographic review is carried out in order to show a general and concise description of the anesthetic management of patients with cardiac pathologies who undergo non-cardiac surgery.
