dc.description.abstractThis paper shows the results of a reading comprehension program applied to 4th grade students (ages 8-10). The exploratory descriptive study consisted in using statistical figures for reading comprehension. Treatment and control groups were organized and the activity (the instrument) was done to each group, respectively. Results show that treatment group exhibits better reading comprehension than control group. Then, more programs oriented to improve reading comprehension in elementary school should be applied.
