RELACIÓN DE PAREJA EN LA UNIÓN LIBRE - ESTUDIO DE CASO

Abstract

La presente investigación se realizó con el propósito de analizar la relación de una pareja que vive en unión libre en la ciudad de La Paz. En base a la identificación del concepto de amor, el tipo de historia de amor, las expectativas, el contrato matrimonial, la forma de organización familiar, las relaciones de parentalidad y las relaciones de las familias de origen de la pareja. Mediante información obtenida a través de una entrevista a profundidad que se realizó de manera individual, estudiadas bajo el análisis temático. La investigación se fundamentó en la teoría de Sternberg: la Teoría Triangular del Amor y otras teorías pertenecientes a las demás categorías. Dentro de los resultados, a lo largo de la entrevista, se aumentaron dos categorías nuevas (historia de amor y expectativas) y se eliminaron otras sub-categorías obteniendo un alcance más profundo en relación a los objetivos que se pretendían conseguir inicialmente. Se pudo concluir que las dos nuevas categorías repercuten y son fundamentales en la relación de la pareja y tienen relación con el concepto de amor identificado en la pareja. En relación a la decisión de vivir en unión libre, se concluyó que la pareja opta por este tipo de convivencia debido a que consideran el matrimonio como un contrato legal que no garantiza estabilidad en la relación ni es necesario para formar una familia además de ser un tipo de unión "antiromántica".

This research was conducted in order to analyze the relationship of a couple living in cohabitation in the city of La Paz. Based on the identification of the concept of love, the kind of love story, the expectations, the marriage contract, the form of family organization, parenting relationships and relationships of the families of origin of the couple. Using information obtained through a depth interviews held individually studied under the thematic analysis. The research was based on the theory of Sternberg's Triangular Theory of Love and Other theories belonging to other categories. Within results, throughout the interview, two new categories (story of love and expectations) were increased and other sub-categories were eliminated by obtaining a deeper scope in relation to the objectives originally intended to achieve. It was concluded that the two new categories affect and are central to the relationship of the couple and are related to the concept of love found in couples. Regarding the decision to live in union concluded that the couple chooses this type of coexistence because they consider marriage as a legal contract that does not guarantee stability in the relationship nor is it necessary to raise a family besides being a kind of "anti-romantic" union.
