It has been observed a rapid progress on the Web today, especially considering its evolution and development of what is currently conceptualized as the Web 2.0, which includes tools as blogs, social networks and micro blogging services widely known for providing users communicative and interactive opportunities. In the educational field, educators have successfully integrated these tools in the teaching and learning processes, both as a resource to support their classroom teaching and also as an interactive medium to assist online learning modes. This research, framed under the qualitative paradigm, proposes the creation and development of an integrated virtual learning environment at the undergraduate level, supported by several of these Web 2.0 tools and services. The design of this Integrated Virtual Learning Environment (IVLE 2.0) emerged from the results of an online survey administered to students of New Technologies, which is one of the subjects of the Audiovisual Media career, at a university located in the Western area of Venezuela.
