dc.description.abstractThe new generations possess a close relationship with the image, therefore their development has been accompanied by various audiovisual media, which have given them a parallel training more influential than the one offered in classrooms. Consequently it is necessary to involve the school in practices that allow the analysis of visual information and its connection with other skills. For this end a pedagogical intervention proposal was designed, based on the qualitative paradigm and framed in Action-Research, with the objective of developing capacity written communication skills through image centered strategies in students of the 5th grade of Primary Education of a public school in San Cristobal (Tachira). The texts produced and analyzed showed an increase in the writing skills generated from the dialogue with the image.
