Conventional theory of control suggests the classic linear controller PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) whose performance against to a nonlinear process is wrong. This research proposes a PID controller with new tuning expressions found from the IMC structure. In addition to this new controller, a fuzzy variable filtering module (MFD) is integrated. The hybridization between IMC and Fuzzy logic are tested in a stirred continuous tank reactor (SCTR). The results show robustness forehead disturbances promoted to the system. Formulation of new tuning expressions is the last goal of this research where optimization routines have been employed. These three new tuning equations relate each scaling factors of the MFD, depending on the parameters that identify the personality of the process. Linear regression and multivariate analysis of variance were necessary for the deduction such equations.
