La historiografía económica sobre el Valle del Cauca, siglos XIX y XX. Temas, espacios y tiempos: una aproximación cuantitativa

Abstract

El artículo aborda, desde una perspectiva cuantitativa, la historiografía econó-mica del Valle del Cauca para los siglos XIX y XX. El objetivo es ofrecer una aproximación sectorial a partir de la selección de una serie de variables como: temas, siglos y periodos, y espacios. La intención es rendir cuenta de modo crí-tico del nivel de desarrollo logrado por esta historiografía sobre la economía regional. Topics, spaces, and times: A quantitative approximation Summary: From a quantitative perspective, the article deals with the economic historiography of the Valle del Cauca for the 19th and 20th centuries. The aim is to offer a sectorial approximation from the selection of a series of variables such as: topics, centuries and periods, and spaces. The intention is, in a critical style, to give an account of the level of development achieved by this historiography on the regional economy.
