Abstract

El artículo explora la influencia de las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación en la investigación científica y la innovación en instituciones de educación superior. Las TIC han revolucionado la forma en que se accede, comparte, analiza información, fomentando enfoques interdisciplinarios y transformando la educación. Además, destaca cómo las soluciones basadas en TIC impactan en la sociedad, abordando desafíos y promoviendo un cambio cultural por medio de la colaboración entre investigadores, democratizando el conocimiento y fortaleciendo la relación entre la ciencia y el mundo exterior. El artículo subraya la relación simbiótica entre la ciencia y la tecnología en la resolución de problemas complejos, principalmente considerando los desafíos de la confiabilidad de la información en línea y los desafíos éticos. La integridad en la investigación se ve amenazada por la proliferación de información errónea y prácticas de plagio. La gestión de datos y la igualdad en el acceso a las TIC son preocupaciones importantes. La formación y la alfabetización digital se vuelven esenciales para aprovechar plenamente el potencial de las TIC. Esta investigación presenta como aporte científico, un análisis que aborda cómo las TIC han influido en la creación y difusión del conocimiento, la estructura de la sociedad y acelerado la innovación científica, promoviendo enfoques interdisciplinarios y transformando la educación superior. The article underlines the symbiotic relationship between science and technology in solving complex problems, mainly considering the challenges of the reliability of online information and ethical challenges. Research integrity is threatened by the proliferation of misinformation and plagiarism practices. Data management and equal access to ICTs are important concerns. Training and digital literacy become essential to fully exploit the potential of ICT. This research presents as a scientific contribution, an analysis that addresses how ICTs have influenced the creation and dissemination of knowledge, the structure of society and accelerated scientific innovation, promoting interdisciplinary approaches and transforming higher education.
