La fe pública es delegada por el Estado al notario de fública, por lo cual está encargado de dar la seguridad jurídica y el control de legalidad de todos los documentos notariales generados en la actualidad por el sistema informático del notariado plurinacional, con los cambios tecnológicos con la utilización del Sistema informático del notariado plurinacional, lo cual conlleva la ciudadanía digital, la firma digital y las nuevas medidas de seguridad implementadas en el servicio notarial
