Ensayo para el enraizamiento de acodos aéreos de Magnolia grandiflora L. (Magnoliaceae)

Abstract

During this essay were tested the effect of three plant hormones, indol butyric acid (AIB), naphthalene acetic acid (ANA) and indol acetic acid (AIA),on rooting of magnolia by air layering. The best result was obtained with AIB, at a concentration of 200 mg/L, after an incubation period of 335 days. It was observed abundant root formation.
