La enseñanza geográfica tradicional, la renovación pedagógica y didáctica de su práctica escolar cotidiana

Abstract

Las condiciones socio-historicas en desarrollo desde la segunda guerra mundial hasta fines del siglo XX, originaron una circunstancia donde resaltan los avances cientifico-tecnologicos y en los medios de comunicacion social. En ese contexto, se ha manifestado una dificil realidad ambiental, geografica y social, cuya explicacion resulta sesgada por las noticias e informaciones divulgadas por los medios, pues convierten al colectivo social en espectadores alienados y manipulados, donde el proposito es homogeneizar la cultura de fuerte acento mercantilizado. Mientras eso ocurre, en la ensenanza geografica, en su practica escolar cotidiana, los procesos formativos se orientan a transmitir contenidos programaticos librescos sin efectos para comprender la dificil situacion ambiental, geografica y social, del entorno inmediato, como del escenario historico de la epoca contemporanea. Metodologicamente, esta contradiccion determino realizar una revision bibliografica y estructurar un planteamiento que analiza los significativos cambios de actualidad en la dinamica social de proyeccion hacia el complejo mundo globalizado y los desafios que esa transformacion representa para la ensenanza geografica, al demandar la renovacion pedagogica y didactica de su practica escolar cotidiana. In this context, there has been a difficult environmental, geographical and social reality whose explanation is biased by news and information released by the media, and the social group is turned into alienated and manipulated audience, and the main purpose is to homogenize the culture of strong commoditized accent. While that happens, the training processes in teaching geography aims to transmit academic programmatic contents without effects to understand the challenging environmental, geographical and social situation of the immediate environment, and the historic site of the modern era. Methodologically, this contradiction determined to review the literature and to structure an approach that analyzes the significant changes in the current social dynamics projection to the complex globalized world and the challenges that this transformation represents for teaching geography, by demanding a pedagogical and didactic renewal of its daily school practice.
