dc.description.abstractSupernumerary teeth are nominate those presents in excessive number and can appear in primary and permanent dentition but are seen most frequently in the later. The etiology is unknown. The most common are mesiodens which are located between the two central incisors. If not removed these tooth could cause some prejudicial effects to the patient as: radicular resorption from the next tooth, malocclusion, diastema, impaction from the permanent tooth among others; in this way a precocious diagnosis and adequate treatment are very important at the solution of this pathology. The present article report the cases of a 8 years old, masculine patient with supernumerary teeth, located between the two upper central incisors for palatine which deleted the eruption of them, after clinical and radiographic examthe surgical extraction ofmesiodens were done.
