dc.description.abstractThe paper analizes the first 15 years of experience in building and using global simulation models in Venezuela. The aims of the analysis is to identify their most important characteristics and the factors that allowed and facilitated their development. It also gives a view of their role played in the 60s, when many models were built and used as in few other countries.
