dc.description.abstractDifferent proccesses to precipitate Vanadium from solutions gotten by H2SO4 leaching of combustion residues of Venezuelan fuel oil cocke are tried. Using NaClO4, it is recovered 85% of vanadium as V2O4 and Fe, Ni and V sulphates. Using NaOH and NaClO4, it is recovered 20% of vanadium as Na3V04.16H2O Using HClO4, it is recovered 60% of vanadium as impure V2O5.
