El desempleo, la migración y las remesas en México

Abstract

Resumen: El objetivo del trabajo fue encontrar la relación del Producto Interno Bruto (PIB) de México, el PIB de Estados Unidos, la migración, el desempleo, las remesas, la tasa de interés, tipo de cambio, el salario y la inversión. Se elaboró un modelo de ecuaciones simultáneas. Los resultados fueron: un incremento del 10.0% del PIB de EU, el desempleo, y la inflación, el número de migrantes de México aumentaría en 11.35, 2.35 y 0.23% respectivamente. Un aumento de 1.0% del PIB de EU, las remesas se incrementarían en 8.8%. Al aumentar la inversión 10.0%, la economía nacional crecería en 6.43%. En conclusión, para los migrantes y las remesas el PIB de EU y la tasa de interés fueron significativas. Para la inversión y el tipo de cambio fue el PIB de México.

Abstract: The objective of the work was to find the relation of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Mexico, the GDP of the United States, migration, unemployment, remittances, the interest rate, exchange rate, wages, and investment. A model of simultaneous equations was elaborated. The results were: an increase of 10.0% of US GDP, unemployment, and inflation, the number of migrants from Mexico would increase by 11.35, 2.35 and 0.23% respectively. An increase of 1.0% of the US GDP, remittances would increase by 8.8%. When the investment increased 10.0%, the national economy would grow by 6.43%. In conclusion, for the migrants and remittances the US GDP and the interest rate were significant. For investment and the exchange rate was Mexico's GDP.
