La Agenda África venezolana (2005-2012

Abstract

En la historia de los ultimos ocho anos de la politica exterior venezolana, destacan los dialogos diplomaticos con el continente africano. La Agenda Africa representa el nuevo medio organizativo, no solo derivado por la creacion de un viceministerio donde se concibe un enfoque de lo que representa Africa para el pais, una idea de la cooperacion en el ambito del Sur y un esfuerzo por construir rutas diferentes en el trato y relaciones con los Estados africanos, sino porque responde a una concepcion del Estado venezolano hacia el mundo y su propio proyecto politico. Abstract In the last eight years of Venezuela’s foreign policy the diplomatic dialogues with the African continent have been a keynote. Th e Africa Agenda represents a new organizational tool that is not a by-product of the creation of a vice-ministry that has its own view of what Africa means to the country and a conception of South- South cooperation as part of an eff ort to build new roads in the exchanges and relations with the African states, but as something that responds to the worldview and political project of the Venezuelan State.
