Abstract

Mathematical level of student begining Engineering at Los Andes University Evaluation. A test is made in order to mesure the mathematical level of students beggining Engineering at Los Andes University The test is applied to 520 students enrolled to the A-86 semester. The results allow to conclude that since the starting mathematical leve is so low it is not possible to judge the efficiency over a first term course considering only the passed proportion.
