SITUACIÓN DEL PERIODISMO DE INVESTIGACIÓN ESCRITO EN BOLIVIA DESDE EL 2000 AL 2020

Abstract

Resumen: La presente investigación muestra información sobre la situación del periodismo de investigación (PI) escrito en el eje central de Bolivia desde el 2000 hasta el 2020. Esta rama del periodismo se ve relegada por el periodismo de coyuntura y muchas veces se confunde con áreas afines, como el periodismo a profundidad o el periodismo de datos. Por otra parte, no existen investigaciones relacionadas al PI escrito en el contexto boliviano y que abarquen un recorrido semejante. El objetivo principal de la investigación es determinar la situación del periodismo de investigación en el tiempo y espacios especificados. En ese sentido, se propone una construcción de un marco referencial y una base teórica, para después analizar los resultados obtenidos por medio de entrevistas, grupos focales y complementar con datos en los productos encontrados. Consiguientemente, se visibilizan las semejanzas y diferencias entre el contexto y la teoría internacional con la realidad del periodismo de investigación en Bolivia. También, se evidencian adaptaciones por parte de los periodistas respecto al ejercicio de este tipo de periodismo y puntos de vista sobre el trabajo colaborativo, transfronterizo, independiente o mixto.

Abstract: This research shows information on the situation of written investigative journalism (IJ) in the central axis of Bolivia from 2000 to 2020. This branch of journalism is relegated by conjuncture journalism and is often confused with related areas, such as in-depth journalism or data journalism. On the other hand, there are no investigations related to written IJ in the Bolivian context that cover a similar journey. The main aim of this research is to determine the situation of investigative journalism in the time and space previously specified. In this sense, a construction of a referential framework and a theoretical base is proposed, in order to analyze later the results obtained through interviews, focus groups and complement with data on the foun products. Consequently, similarities and differences between the international context and theory with the reality of investigative journalism in Bolivia are made visible. Also, adaptations made by journalists are evident regarding the process of perform this type of journalism and points of view on collaborative, crossborder, independent or mixed work.
