Abstract
La integración de las aulas virtuales en la educación se ha convertido en una necesidad para el desarrollo de aprendizajes y capacidades de los estudiantes, esto se ha visualizado a partir del confinamiento ocasionado por la pandemia COVID-19. El objetivo del presente estudio fue describir la realidad de las aulas virtuales en el aprendizaje de educación Superior. La metodología aplicada fue la revisión narrativa, la búsqueda se realizó en Scopus, Wos, Scielo, Dialnet, como también se recurrió a las bases de datos de tesis. Los resultados de búsquedas generados fueron 7 artículos científicos, 5 tesis para un total de 11 fuentes para analizar. Previos criterios de inclusión como guardar relación directa con el fenómeno de estudio, la información, accesibilidad de idioma y antigüedad. Se concluye en que las aulas virtuales en la educación superior ofrecen flexibilidad, acceso ampliado y oportunidades de colaboración global. Sin embargo, también plantean desafíos relacionados con la brecha digital, la motivación, la interacción y la evaluación.

It is concluded that virtual classrooms in higher education offer flexibility, expanded access and opportunities for global collaboration. However, they also pose challenges related to the digital divide, motivation, interaction and assessment.
