Abstract
La auditoría de bases de datos es un proceso esencial para garantizar la seguridad, integridad y calidad de la información almacenada en ellas. Además, la auditoría permite identificar posibles amenazas, vulnerabilidades y errores en la gestión de datos. Por esta razón, se ha llevado a cabo una revisión sistemática de la literatura con el objetivo de analizar las últimas investigaciones en torno a la auditoría, por lo que se realiza esta pregunta: ¿Cuál es el panorama actual de la auditoría de bases de datos? La revisión se enfoca en la relación e importancia entre la auditoría y la base de datos, las herramientas y tecnologías utilizadas para realizarla, los beneficios y el posible futuro de la auditoría de base de datos con las nuevas tecnologías en este campo. Esta búsqueda se logró gracias a las revisiones de artículos publicados en base de datos como Scopus, ResearchGate, Dialnet, World Wide Science, Proquest y BASE comprendida entre los años 2018 a 2023. Como resultados se resalta la contribución de la inteligencia artificial en la auditoría de base de datos.
Database auditing is an essential process to ensure the security, integrity and quality of the information stored in them. In addition, auditing allows the identification of possible threats, vulnerabilities and errors in data management. For this reason, a systematic review of the literature has been carried out with the aim of analyzing the latest research on auditing, so this question is asked: What is the current landscape of database auditing? The review focuses on the relationship and importance between auditing and database, the tools and technologies used to perform it, the benefits and the possible future of database auditing with the new technologies in this field. This search was achieved through reviews of articles published in databases such as Scopus, ResearchGate, Dialnet, World Wide Science, Proquest, and BASE between 2018 and 2023. As a result, the contribution of artificial intelligence in database auditing is highlighted.
