Prácticas alimentarias en Ocozocoautla de Espinosa, Chiapas: análisis social y cultural de los Zoques

Abstract
La alimentación cultural en la sociedad juega un papel importante en la nutrición, sustentabilidad y en la identidad de los municipios. La identidad se construye a través de las relaciones sociales, conocimientos, arraigos ancestrales, patrimonio gastronómico, el objetivo consiste en identificar los ingredientes y preparaciones culinarias Zoques, tomando como muestra a los habitantes del municipio de Ocozocoautla, los cuales continúan preservando la cultura alimentaria, pese a las diferentes adversidades económicas y sanitarias, a través de tradiciones, como lo es el Carnaval Zoque Coiteco. Metodología: Por lo que este articulo ofrece apreciaciones analíticas con el apoyo de un estudio etnográfico y antropológico sobre la alimentación cultural, prácticas y la relación que existe entre tradiciones y conocimientos sociales. Conclusiones: La alimentación cultural-tradicional forma parte de la dieta diaria en los pobladores de Ocozocoautla, así como de la seguridad alimentaria mediante la preservación de recetas, técnicas y usos de ingredientes tradicionales.

Methodology: Therefore, this article offers analytical insights with the support of an ethnographic and anthropological study on cultural food, practices, and the relationship between traditions and social knowledge. Conclusions: Cultural-traditional food is part of the daily diet of the inhabitants of Ocozocoautla, as well as food sovereignty through the preparation of recipes, techniques and uses of traditional ingredients.
