Immunonutrition as an adjuvant therapy for burns

Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the effects of the addition of immunonutrients (glutamine, arginine, BCAA, n‐3 fatty acids or nucleotides), compared to an isonitrogenous diet, on clinical outcomes in burns patients.
