VALIDACIÓN DE UN INSTRUMENTO DE FUNCIONALIDAD FAMILIAR

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene por finalidad exponer el proceso de validación de un instrumento de funcionalidad familiar a partir de la comparación de dos escalas que han explorado en la medición del constructo, siendo éstas FF-SIL creado en Cuba por Isabel Lauro Bernal y ¿Cómo es tú Familia?, instrumento de la Organización Panamericana de Salud (1999) y validado en Chile por Ramón Florenzano. El enfoque del estudio fue cuantitativo y el diseño es correlacional transversal. Se logra establecer que el instrumento Cómo es tú familia, es adecuado para medir exclusivamente el constructo que desea medir, se basa en una apropiada construcción teórica y que no se incurrió en errores de diseño que tergiversen los resultados.

This article aims to explain the process of validation of an instrument of family functionality from the comparison of two scales that incursioned the measurement of the construct, being these FF- SIL created in Cuba by Lauro Isabel Bernal and "How is your family?", instrument of the Pan- American Healthy Organization (1999) and validated in Chile by Ramón Florenzano. The approach of the study was quantitative and the design is cross correlational. It established that instrument How is your family is suitable to measure the construct that you want to measure, it is based on a proper theoretical construction and it did not make desing errors that distort the results.
