dc.description.abstractIn the work environment, where the worker interacts with multiple situations that cause fatigue and deterioration of health, their quality of life is affected. At the “Isla de la Juventud” University, in observations made and in the ergonomic, physical and applied health diagnosis, a large number of muscle-skeletal diseases were observed, caused by inadequate workplace conditions, and which bring with them a high rate of absenteeism, so the goal of the research is to develop a methodology for Active Labor Pause that can reduce these diseases. In order to carry out this research, theoretical knowledge and scientific methods were used, which allowed the formation of the concept with a dialectical, integrated, ordered and oriented towards a preconceived purpose.
