Abstract
Los estudiantes que poseen habilidades sociales bien desarrolladas son más propensos a tener relaciones interpersonales positivas y a tener éxito tanto en la escuela como en su vida profesional posterior. El objetivo de este ensayo es determinar el nivel de desarrollo de las habilidades sociales en estudiantes de 4° de secundaria en Huancavelica. Se orientó en el enfoque cuantitativo, el paradigma fue positivista, en cuanto al método fue deductivo de tipo descriptivo; el diseño fue no experimental y transeccional. La población estuvo conformada por 269 estudiantes. Se empeló la encuesta como técnica para recopilar la información y el cuestionario como instrumento, conteniendo 50 ítems. Se utilizó la técnica de distribución de frecuencia simple empleando el software Excel y SPSS. Los resultados dan a entender que, los estudiantes poseen un desarrollo de habilidades sociales de nivel normal. Se concluye que, un 33,22% de la población estudiada está inmersa en un nivel de habilidades sociales normal.

The objective of this essay is to determine the level of development of social skills in 4th grade secondary school students in Huancavelica. The population was made up of 269 students. The survey was used as a technique to collect information and the questionnaire as an instrument, containing 50 items. The simple frequency distribution technique was used using Excel and SPSS software. The results suggest that the students have a development of social skills at a normal level. It is concluded that 33.22% of the studied population is immersed in a normal level of social skills.
