dc.description.abstractHappiness is an emotion, a mind state, and it is related to satisfaction, mental wellbeing, etc. It is subjective and personal, due to different conditions intrinsic and extrinsic to the subject. It implies to achieve an objective or reach a goal. In some cases it never is achieved due to the expectatives of the person. The concept of happiness is close to the concept of “life quality” which refers to satisfaction and includes humen, environmental, social and economical aspects. Happiness has different degrees. Optimism is considered as happinness and pesimism is unhapiness. A society happiness is considered when wellbeing is present in most of the individuals. The society has perception factors for happiness, such as trust in people, political trust, number of mental diseases, criminality index, life expectancy, etc. Happiness can be induced such as in “results expectancy” and in “placebo effect”
