Abstract
El estudio del burnout y la satisfacción laboral en profesionales de la salud es un tema de creciente relevancia, dado que ambos factores impactan en la calidad del servicio y el bienestar del personal. El objetivo es analizar el síndrome de Burnout y su efecto en la satisfacción laboral en los trabajadores de un Hospital en Ecuador. A través de Question Pro, se aplicó un cuestionario que aplicado a una muestra de 57 profesionales de la salud operativos. Los instrumentos de medición utilizados fueron el Burnout assessment tool (BAT 23) y la escala de satisfacción laboral es S20/23. Los resultados revelan que el 86,0% muestra niveles bajos de burnout, el 7,0% nivel medio y otro 7,0% nivel alto. En cambio, respecto a la satisfacción laboral, el 32,3% de los trabajadores se sienten insatisfechos con el ambiente físico del hospital. Sin embargo, en cuanto a la participación, un 34,4% se siente neutral, y en la supervisión, un 40,8%.
The study of burnout and job satisfaction in health professionals is a topic of growing relevance, given that both factors significantly impact the quality of service and the well-being of staff. The objective is to analyze the Burnout syndrome and its effect on job satisfaction in workers at a Hospital in Ecuador. Using Question Pro, a questionnaire was applied to a sample of 57 operating health professionals. The measurement instruments used were the Burnout assessment tool (BAT 23) and the job satisfaction scale is S20/23.
