HISTORIA DE LA CÁTEDRA DE ANATOMÍA EN LA FACULTAD DE MEDICINA DE LA UNIVERSIDAD MAYOR DE SAN ANDRÉS

Abstract

Presentamos una breve Historia de la Cátedra de Anatomía Humana de la Facultad de Medicina de La Paz, recopilando documentos oficiales e investigaciones inéditas de docentes meritorios de nuestra facultad, partiendo de la fundación del Colegio de Ciencias Medicas, de la primera Cátedra de Anatomía, sus docentes y alumnos, de las practicas de disección y los exámenes, sobre los textos de anatomía, y los pioneros encargados de cátedra hasta fines del siglo XX.

We present a brief history of the subject Human Anatomy of the Medical School of La Paz, gathering official documents and unpublished investigations of meritorious teachers of our School , on the foundation of the College of Medical Sciences. Of its first subject, teachers and students, of the training in dissection and the examinations, on the texts of anatomy and the pioneers in charge of the chair until the end of the XX. Century.
