Abstract

The success of a rehabilitation treatment with total dentures is based on the knowledge of biological principles, systemic conditions of the patient, in the selection and management of the techniques and materials used in each of the phases of its development. The combination of techniques and proper use of dental materials to take a functional impression ensures in principle, the functional success of the prosthetic device. The presented technique offers the advantage of copying the support provided by the greater amount of residual bone, remove exaggerated over the mucosa of support pressure and grant support and the functionality required for total denture.
