Reflexiones sobre la violencia contra la mujer: necesidad de una convergencia de saberes

Abstract

In this study, the author refl ects about the violence situations against women presented in Venezuela, the diff erence between the time of the facts and the time of the laws, and the distance between the changes and success in the Law and the cultural change and the change of mentalities. It supports the necessity for teaching an educative and cultural change for building new mentalities that promote women’s dignity. In order to achieve it, the author proposes the convergence of knowledge.
