TRATAMIENTO DE TIÑA PEDIS Y CANDIDIASIS INTERDIGITAL CON TERBINAFINA TOPICA POR 7 DIAS Y TIÑA PEDIS Y CANDIDIASIS PLANTAR CON TERBINAFINA ORAL POR 14 DIAS EN UN GRUPO DE SOLDADOS

Abstract

La Terbinafina es un derivado de alilamina con actividad fungicida en contra de los dermatofitos, mohos y ciertos hongos dimorficos. En este estudio donde la muestra la constituyo un grupo de soldados del Destacamento regional N4 7 de la Guardia Nacional con las mejores condiciones para desarrollar Tina pedis, como son la humedad tanto por no secar los pies despues del bano por falta de tiempo, como por sudoracion abundante por el uso continuo de botas; banos con poca higiene, contacto directo en el suelo con escamas que albergan el hongo, se obtuvieron con Terbinafina topica por 7 dias en soldados con lesiones de Tina pedis interdigital cura micologica del 90% y cura clinica del 70% al ser examinados a las 4 semanas posterior al tratamiento. Asi mismo en soldados con lesiones de Tina pedis plantar a las 4 semanas posterior al tratamiento con Terbinafina oral por 14 dias, se obtuvieron cura micologica del 92,3% y cura clinica del 69,2%. Hubo una posible reinfeccion o contaminacion con Aspergillus niger en un soldado curado de infeccion por Trichophyton mentagrophytes y una reinfeccion con Trichophyton mentagrophytes en un soldado curado de Candida albicans. Terbinafina resulta efectiva para tratamiento de Candida albicans en infecciones por este microorganismo en los pies, ya que tanto los 7 casos positivos de los soldados con lesiones interdigitales para Candida, como los 9 soldados con lesiones plantares se curaron. Ningun paciente reporto efecto secundario, ni con el uso de Terbinafina topica ni oral, lo que ademas de la seguridad, garantiza que los pacientes cumplan la terapia completa. ABSTRACT Terbirlafine derives from alilamines of fungicide activity that works against dermatophytes, moss and certain dimorphous fungus. The investigation has been carried out with a group of National Guard soldiers, Station No. 7, which showed the best conditions for development of the Tina pedis: humidity (owing to wet feet), abundant sweat (due to the continuous usage of boots), bathrooms with non or little hygiene. The treatment with topic Terbinafine on soldiers with interdigital Tina pedis (as a result of direct contact of the ground that lodges fungus scales), after being checked 4 weeks after the treatment resulted on : micological cure 90% and clinical cure 70%. In a like manner, on soldiers with Tina pedis plantar after 4 weeks of the treatment, with oral Terbinafine for 14 days, the result shown was mycological cure 92.3% and clinical cure 69.2%. A soldier treated with Trichophyton mentagrophytes had been contaminated with Aspergillus niger, another soldier cured of Candida albicans was also reinfected with Trichophyton mentagrophytes. The Candida albicans can affect the feet and the treatment with Terbinafine is very effective, since the 7 positive cases of interdigital Candidiasis as well as the 9 plantar cases have been cured and reports of secondary effects were not received from the usage of topic nor oral Terbinafine. This guarantees that the people completed the therapy.
