Mujeres guaraníes, violencia sexual y búsqueda de justicia

Abstract

El artículo incluye los resultados de una investigación en torno a los mecanismos de poder que se ejercen mediante la violencia sexual sobre las mujeres guaraníes de Yacuiba. La autora examina el contenido político, material y simbólico de ese poder y explora los itinerarios que siguen las mujeres en la búsqueda de justicia frente a la violencia y la respuesta de la justicia ordinaria y la justicia indígena.This article presents the results of research on the mechanisms of power that are exercised by means of sexual violence against Guaraní women in Yacuiba. The author examines the political, material and symbolic contení of that power. She also explores the pathways followed by women who have suffered violence in the search for justice and the response of the ordinary and indigenous justice systems.
