FLAVONOIDES DE BACCHARIS BOLIVIENSIS

Abstract
Dos diterpenos y cuatro flavonoides: 1 (5,7,3',4'-tetrahidroxi-6-metoxiflavanona; Filifolin), 2 (5,3'-dihidroxi-3,6,7,8,4'-pentametoxiflavona), 3 (5,4'-dihidroxi-6,7,8-trimetoxiflavona; Xanthomicrol) y 4 (5,6,7,3',4'-pentahidroxiflavona; 6-Hidroxiluteolin), fueron aislados de las partes aéreas de Baccharis boliviensis e identificados mediante técnicas espectroscópicas de RMN 1D y 2D así como por comparación con datos bibliográficos. Los dos diterpenos fueron anteriormente reportados en B. boliviensis mientras que los cuatro flavonoides son reportados por primera vez en esta especie y al ser metabolitos secundarios mayoritarios le dan un potencial interés farmacológico porque los mismos compuestos o compuestos muy similares presentaron actividad apoptótica o citotóxica.

The two diterpenes were previously reported in B. boliviensis while the four flavonoids are first reported in this species and being major secondary metabolites give a potential pharmacological interest because these compounds or similar compounds showed apoptotic or cytotoxic activity.
