Abstract

This paper considers archival work combined with fieldwork as necessary tools that enrich the historical work on this topic. Emphasis is placed on viewing fieldwork as a profitable activity for municipal analysis. In this sense, some field experiences are described in which the obstacles, complications and risks are noted when the researcher is a woman.
