Expresiones artísticas en niños del nivel inicial: una revisión sistemática

Abstract

Las expresiones artísticas fomentan la imaginación y el desarrollo afectivo en los niños, permitiéndoles explorar y comunicar sus sentimientos de manera saludable y divertida. El objetivo del estudio fue analizar la producción científica existente acerca de la importancia de las expresiones artísticas en el desarrollo integral de la niñez en el nivel inicial. Se empleó un enfoque de investigación cualitativa descriptiva, teniendo en cuenta la revisión bibliográfica documental. La muestra quedó conformada por diecisiete documentos significativos, que incluyeron trabajos académicos y artículos científicos, publicados entre 2017 y 2024, en torno a autores de América Latina. Los resultados muestran la importancia de las expresiones artísticas en el desarrollo integral de niños en nivel inicial, señalando que actividades como la música, pintura y teatro fomentan la creatividad, el desarrollo cognitivo, emocional y social, permitiendo la autoexploración, mejorando la autoestima y potenciando habilidades interpersonales. Se recomienda incorporar cambios en el currículo y capacitar a los docentes para fortalecer la educación artística desde temprana edad.

Artistic expressions foster imagination and emotional development in children, allowing them to explore and communicate their feelings in a healthy and fun way. The objective of this study was to analyze existing scientific literature on the importance of artistic expression in the holistic development of children in early childhood. A descriptive qualitative research approach was used, taking into account a documentary bibliographic review. The sample consisted of seventeen significant documents, including academic papers and scientific articles, published between 2017 and 2024, by authors from Latin America. The results demonstrate the importance of artistic expression in the holistic development of children in early childhood, indicating that activities such as music, painting, and theater foster creativity, cognitive, emotional, and social development, allowing for self-exploration, improving self-esteem, and enhancing interpersonal skills. It is recommended that curriculum changes be incorporated and teachers be trained to strengthen arts education from an early age.
