Abstract
The main objective of this study is the physicochemical analysis of water obtained from the fog catcher at Cerro Campana, Peru. Likewise, the present study is framed in an experimental type of research, with a cross-sectional design and quantitative approach, the population used was the volume of water obtained from the fog catcher and the sample was considered the data from day 11 from 4:00 pm to day 18 until 12:00 pm of September 2023. The observation technique was used and the instruments used were the field card, as well as Microsoft Excel, ArcGIS and AutoCAD for data collection. The results indicated that the fog catcher, located at UTM coordinates 709065.7m E and 9116855.08m S, with an angle of 60°, was able to capture humidity from the air in Cerro Campana at an altitude of 683m.a.s.l., which obtained 1.5 L of water with quality suitable for human consumption. When analyzing the physicochemical parameters of the sample, data were obtained below the Maximum Permissible Limits (MPL) established in the DS 031 - 2010 SA. In addition, during the installation of the fog trap, meteorological factors were considered to ensure the correct operation of the fog trap.
