dc.description.abstractIn this contribution, a method for robust anti-windup compensation synthesis in multivariable discrete-time linear systems is presented. The approach considers the residual signal between the actuator output and the controller output as one disturbance signal. Then, performance indexes on the transfer function of that disturbance to the controller output are considered, in order to design the compensation gain. The performance indexes are combined with the indexes corresponding to the performance of the transfer function of the perturbations to the controlled output, which allows to design robust controller and anti-windup compensation gain, simultaneously. The method also allows to consider mixed performance indexes (multiobjectives) in H2-H¥, where techniques based on linear matrix inequalities can be used. With this approach, a robust compensation is obtained and the performance in closed loop is guaranteed, in spite of changes in the saturation limits of the actuators
