dc.description.abstractThe gold`s recovery wasted sands from Rio Claro Low Caroni were size classified and Chemically analized. The fine fraction (-50 mesh) of the black sands was used in this work, it represents 20.23% and contains 53,12% of Ti02. The digestion process was studied; it was determined the influence of temperature, reaction time, weight ratios ore to concentrated sulphuric acid. The kinetic and yields of the Leaching process are discussed. It is possible to recovery 93% TiO2.
