An analisis is done of the disasters that have affected the world in the last years, especially those affecting human health. Emphasis is made on the avian flu, bovine spongiform encephalitis, the anthrax, and the present swine flu (A H1N1). The pandemics of microbiological origin are pinpointed, as well as the natural disasters associated to climatic change, such as typhoons, hurricanes, drought, floods, and others. The lack of accomplishment of their duties by the governments of the signing countries has made useless those international and world agreements. A plea is made for an immediate action to stop the climatic change as soon as possible
