Policy Briefing #44-v2 is a joint report from the AgroForAdapt and DigitAF projects and updates a previous review of agroforestry related policies in the Spanish CAP Strategic Plan. It adds sections on environmental policies beyond the CAP, including the Carbon Removals Certification Framework, the LULUCF Regulation, the Nature Restoration Regulation, the Nature Credits Communication, the Spanish National Energy and Climate Plan and selected Regional Climate Adaptation Strategies. It also benefits from responses to a questionnaire sent to agroforestry stakeholders in October 2025 and results from a workshop for experts from governments, unions and NGOs held in November 2025. Twenty recommendations for action are given for consideration by MAPA, MITECO and the Autonomous Communities.
