dc.description.abstractThe present research aims to describe the characteristics of Parental Alienation Syndrome P.A.S in men deprived of liberty with violent behavior of the San Pedro Penitentiary of La Paz-Bolivia, considering the current social, psychological and legal relevance that revolves around the P.A.S and the growing violence in society. The methodology used was non-experimental descriptivetransectional using the ZICAP and PPAS tests for the determination of the existence and characteristics of the P.A.S. The presence of P.A.S was determined in 81% of the participants, proving that this may be one of the factors in the development of violent behaviors.
