América Latina reescribe el sentido del Comercio Justo certificado: un desafío para las ciencias sociales de la región
Abstract
Certified Fair Trade is in a deep crisis: its standards are being increasingly diluted and often mixed with the interests of actors who have little to do with the social commitment and struggle of those who preceded them. The very meaning of the words “fair trade” may be changing. In this scenario, small Latin American producers are proposing new ways to rewrite, from below and from the South, the balance of power and the rules prevailing in the global “fair” circuits.Key words: fair trade, Latin America, small producers, CLAC, Fundeppo.
