The objective of this research was to analyze the influence of the Flipped Classroom Method on the academic performance of Research Methodology students at the Faculty of Health of the National University of the East, Bolivia. The study was developed under a quantitative and quasi-experimental approach. The sample was made up of 57 students divided into Experimental Group (EG) and Control Group (CG). Variables such as academic performance and the application of the Flipped Classroom Method were evaluated, considering measures such as grades, percentage of passes and failures. As a result, a significant difference was obtained in the knowledge test scores between the pre-test and post-test of the Experimental Group, which indicates a positive effect of the Flipped Classroom on academic performance. The students of the Faculty of Health who participated in the study achieve better results, they value innovative pedagogical approaches for training in health research.
