Abstract
Introducción. El currículo, para los procesos pedagógicos resulta esencial para la transformación de la práctica en los sistemas de enseñanza de los docentes y más aún, para los estudiantes en su aprendizaje. Objetivo. Revisar teóricamente el concepto de Diseño Curricular universitario. Metodología. Es un estudio retro-prospectivo, descriptivo, transversal que implica el análisis de resultados teóricos de la tesis de maestría titulada: "Diseño Curricular Interdisciplinar en Gerencia de La Construcción para la Carrera de Arquitectura de la Universidad Mayor De San Andrés" de los investigadores. Resultados. En América latina existe una praxis curricular muy diversa y acorde a contextos políticos y sociales; primando los enfoques por competencias que nacen de sistemas económicos internacionales y la visión sociocrítica enmarcada en criterios políticos y transformaciones educativas. Conclusiones. Sin embargo, es necesario por los actores educativos evaluar los procesos curriculares para el logro de una integración curricular óptima al contexto de nuestros países. La integración implica evaluar los factores curriculares que caracterice el móldelo curricular más óptimo, tales como el contexto, la pertinencia, su calidad, la estructura, sus metas, valores de tal manera que responda a la formación del estudiante acorde a sus necesidades educativas.
Introduction. Inside the pedagogical processes, the curriculum is essential for the transformation of practice in the educational systems of docents and even more, for students and their learning. Objective. To review the concept of university Curriculum Design theoretically. Methodology. The study was performed and analyzed in retro-prospective, descriptive and transversal manner, involving the analysis of the theoretical results obtained from the Master Thesis entitled: "Interdisciplinary Curriculum Design in Construction Management for the Architecture Degree at the Universidad Mayor De San Andrés". Results. Latin America shows a diverse curricular praxis according to political and social contexts; prioritizing on them, approaches based on competencies that arise from international economic systems and the socio-critical vision framed into political criteria and educational transformations. Conclusion. In order to achieve an optimal curriculum integration in the context of our countries, it is necessary to evaluate the curricular processes by the educational actors. This integration involves the evaluation of the curricular factors that characterize the most optimal curricular model, including the context, relevance, quality, structure, goals and values, in such a manner, it responds to the student's training according to their educational needs as well.
