Abstract
Ministerio de Educación del Ecuador, durante La pandemia por el COVID-19 se centraron en desplegar estrategias de educación en línea para que docentes y estudiantes pudieran continuar con los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo describir la educación en línea en el contexto de la pandemia por COVID-19 desde la percepción de 40 docentes de una institución educativa de Guayaquil, Ecuador. Es una investigación descriptiva, la recolección de los datos se realizó a través de un diseño de caso. La técnica para recoger los datos fue la encuesta y el instrumento un cuestionario para identificar la percepción de los docentes, acerca de los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje en línea. Como resultado los docentes perciben que existen dificultades en su capacitación para utilizar la Tecnología de la Información para la enseñanza y guiar a sus estudiantes en el aprendizaje.
The educational policies, generated by the Ministry of Education of Ecuador, during the COVID-19 pandemic focused on deploying online education strategies so that teachers and students could continue with the teaching and learning processes. This research aims to describe online education in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic from the perception of 40 teachers from an educational institution in Guayaquil, Ecuador. It is a descriptive research; the data collection was carried out through a case design. The technique to collect the data was the survey and the instrument was a questionnaire to identify the perception of teachers about the online teaching and learning processes. As a result, teachers perceive that there are difficulties in their training to use Information Technology for teaching and guide their students in learning.
