Abstract
El presente artículo trata sobre la violencia estructural a la que es sometida y somete a un mismo tiempo el sistema educativo. Es sometida a esa violencia por parte de la superestructura al tener que seguir su lógica como parte funcional de ella. A través de la educación, de forma implícita, se hace patente la finalidad de reproducción cultural del sistema en base a la racionalidad tecnológica. La educación a su vez somete esa violencia estructural hacia todos los actores que participan en los procesos educativos, alumnos, profesores y familias. Esto tiene gran repercusión en el desarrollo de la sociedad en el que persiste esa lógica de forma latente.
his article deals with the structural violence that underlies and informs the education system. The latter is exposed to this violence by the superstructure because it follows its logic as an inherent functional part. Through education, in an implicit manner, the cultural reproduction of the system with its basis in technological rationality is being guaranteed. Education thus exposes all actors to this structural violence: students, teachers and families. These processes have significant repercussions in society, which they inform in a latent way.
